Terms & Conditions

Welcome to The Hideout Philadelphia (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) outline the rules and responsibilities for renting and using The Hideout. By submitting a booking form, deposit, or payment, you agree to follow these Terms.
1. Bookings & Payment

All bookings are handled manually through our website form or by direct communication with our team.

A valid ID photo is required for all bookings.

A damage deposit hold is required prior to your event. This hold will be released after your booking pending inspection of the space.

Final payment is due before the event date to confirm your reservation.
2. Cancellations & Refunds

Full refund: cancellations made at least 7 days before the event start time.

50% refund: cancellations made within 72 hours (3 days) of the event start time.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event.

Rescheduling may be allowed based on availability and must be arranged in advance.
3. Venue Rules

BYOB: Guests may bring their own alcohol. The host must provide a valid photo ID before the event.

No smoking or vaping anywhere inside the building.

Minors are allowed only under parental or adult supervision.
-
Children under 10 are permitted in small numbers and must be supervised at all times.

Pets are allowed with payment of the pet fee listed on our Pricing & Add-Ons page.

No confetti, glitter, or similar decorations that create difficult cleanup.

All guests must exit the premises by 11:00 PM.

The Hideout reserves the right to end an event early if rules are violated or safety concerns arise.
4. Damages, Cleaning & Deposit

The renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or excessive mess caused during their booking.

The damage deposit hold will be forfeited if significant cleaning, repairs, or replacements are required after inspection.

Normal cleaning and reset are included with your booking, but please leave the space in reasonable condition.
5. Liability & Safety

All renters must sign a Liability Waiver (sent via DocuSign) prior to their event.

The Hideout and its owners are not liable for injuries, accidents, or lost or stolen property during your event.

The renter assumes full responsibility for their guests’ safety and conduct while on the premises.

The renter must comply with all local laws and building regulations, including noise and occupancy limits.
6. Use of Space

The Hideout is intended for private gatherings and social events.
-
Ticketed events, commercial filming, or media productions require written approval before booking.
-
Subletting or transferring a reservation to another party is not permitted.
